An exciting opportunity has arose for a committed, self driven field service engineer / fitter in a newly forming Dealership, based in Gwent South Wales.
We are looking for an experienced field service engineer / fitter covering Wales on an extensive fleet of plant. The role will require working on construction sites as part of a growing team of field service engineers servicing, repairing, maintaining and carrying out warranty work. The field service engineer will meet customers first hand therefore excellent communication skills is required.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
· The position is predominantly mobile, however you will also be required to work in the workshop when not on site or when required
· Routine servicing, maintenance and warranty repairs of plant equipment including excavators (all sizes), ADTs, Wheel loaders, Dozers and so on.
· Attending breakdowns, diagnosing faults and carrying out on site repairs
· Ensure all warranty and repair work adheres to both manufacturer and company standards.
· Meet Company targets and KPIs.
Key Attributes:
· Strong technical understanding and experience of construction plant.
· Full UK driving licence
· Self-driven to achieve company targets and KPI’s
· Ability to manage time effectively
· Awareness of health and safety
· CSCS card or Quarry passport preferable, but not a limitation.
· Formal qualifications in plant maintenance an advantage.

Package:
· £17-18.50 per hour, with over time available (Time and a half overtime Monday-Saturday & double time on a Sunday)

Pay: £17.00-£18.50 per hour
