The Role
Here at Fortem Solutions we have a new permanent opportunity to join our Repairs and Maintenance team at Amplius Housing as a Plumber Multi. We're looking for someone with core Plumbing skills, basic Carpentry and a range of other Multi Trade skills. As a Plumber Multi Trade you will be responsible for most aspects of property maintenance and repairs to Social Housing Properties covering a patch across Walsall, Birmingham and the surrounding areas, therefore a full, UK driving licence is essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Completing full Plumbing and basic Carpentry repairs work for all social housing properties as per the specification • Advising Supervisors in a timely manner when other Trades are required. • Working in partnership with other operatives to complete projects. • Recording and submitting accurate data using relevant business systems electronic devices. • Affording excellent customer service to client representatives and tenants. • Arranging purchase of materials required to deliver the works in a planned and efficient manner • Comply with safeguarding policy and H&S standards at all times. • Operating within the company’s occupational road risk policies and procedures • Using a PDA smart phone to correspond daily with colleagues to update progress and completion information for your allocated work.
What You Will Need
Essential Criteria: • Core Trade being Plumbing, but have at least basic skills in multiple other Trades, with Carpentry ideally being one of them • Must be able to work solo, without supervision • Must be able to use a tablet to receive jobs and create notes • Full UK driving license (Max 5 points) and no recent driving bans • Must be able to pass a basic DBS check Desirable but not essential: • Experience working within a Social Housing
