About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you'll support our residents during the afternoon and evening, helping them remain comfortable, safe and well cared for.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting residents with personal care.
- Assisting with mobility and daily living activities.
- Supporting afternoon and evening routines.
- Assisting with meals and refreshments.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.
- Maintaining accurate care records.
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive team.

Shift Pattern
- 2:00pm-10:00pm
- 3 days on / 3 days off rolling rota
- This position includes weekends and bank holidays, which form part of your contracted rota.
Location
Towy Castle Care Home is located near Carmarthen and is easily commutable from Llanelli, Llandeilo, Ammanford, Cross Hands, Kidwelly, St Clears, Whitland and the surrounding areas.
Please note that the home is in a rural location with limited public transport. Applicants should ensure they can travel reliably to and from work for all shifts.
