The Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised and hardworking Seasonal Café Chef to join our kitchen team for the busy summer season.
You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in producing consistently high-quality food and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team. Whether you're an experienced Chef de Partie, Breakfast Chef or Café Chef looking for a summer by the coast, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Maintain excellent food presentation and portion control.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures are followed at all times.
- Assist with stock control, ordering and minimising waste.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service.
- Work efficiently during busy trading periods while maintaining quality.
- Support and communicate effectively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Help develop and maintain a positive, professional working environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a chef in a café, restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Passion for fresh, quality food and attention to detail.
- Ability to stay calm and organised during busy services.
- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Food Hygiene Certificate preferred (training can be provided if required).
- Flexibility to work weekends and throughout the summer season.
