Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Airless Paint Sprayer to join our team. In this role, you will operate specialised equipment to apply coatings efficiently and precisely, supporting our fabrication and repair projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced tools and contribute to high-quality industrial finishes.
Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate airless paint spraying equipment for various projects
- Prepare surfaces by blasting, cleaning, sanding, or masking prior to spraying
- Mix paints and coatings accurately using basic math skills to ensure proper consistency
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including handling hand tools and power tools safely
- Inspect finished work for quality, coverage, and adherence to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on spray equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools and power tools
- Basic math skills for measuring, mixing, and calculating material quantities
- Must have experience painting intricate surfaces and fabrications - not just flat panels/walls.
- Experience with two-pack solvent based products is essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with machinery or industrial painting preferred
