Mechanic/MOT Tester (Class 4) required to work in a small well established family run business. Applicant must be capable of undertaking repairs and servicing work on a range of vehicles and some light commercial. The role is varied, we work on many different makes and models so it is essential the applicant has good mechanical knowledge and experience. Applicant must also be confident with diagnostic equipment and be able to carry out repairs based on findings.
The applicant must have a current UK drivers licence and be an MOT tester, (Class 4) level 3 IMI qualifications are required. Applicant must be willing to be part of a small team with good communication skills and customer service.

-Problem solving and troubleshooting of faults
-Ability to undertake heavy lifting when required
Working hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm. Holidays are 22 days plus bank holidays.
The role would suit someone who perhaps is looking to take a step back from the pressures of a main dealership job role. We have a well equip workshop however the candidate will need their own hand tools.
