The Role

We are a professional 'two person' delivery business looking for experienced 3.5t drivers to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service to a broad range of customers across the Midlands/Yorkshire area.

Within this position you will form part of a two person team, delivering and installing a potential mixture of goods into customer’s homes, these goods will vary in shapes, sizes and weight, but in the main will be predominantly sofas, but not restricted to.

Exceptional Customer Service Skills - You will be delivering customers new products into their home, so you must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

Hard Working - You will be willing to go above and beyond for all customers, and at times that will mean working a little later than planned.

Previous Manual Handling Experience - As explained, you will be delivering predominately sofas (but not restricted to) into customers' homes, which come in all shapes and sizes, so you must be willing to lift heavy products - Don’t worry we will ensure you receive great training first.

What you’ll be doing:
*
*
- As part of a two person team, delivering & installing goods into customer’s homes on behalf of multinational brands
- Proactively & effectively communicate with the customer to confirm delivery in accordance to the company's policies and procedures
- Effectively deliver allocated customers orders in a safe and secure manner to meet the customer’s needs
- Comply with all driving laws as defined by the government and all company policies and procedures
- Carry out daily inspections of allocated vehicle and equipment informing the line Manager of any defects/missing items

So, If you have previous 3.5t driving/installation experience, are physically fit as the role involves a lot of heavy lifting, and can demonstrate a positive ‘can do’ attitude, this may just be the role for you.

Salary: Basic salary of £ £25,000 - £30,000 OTE - Self Employed Basis + a possible £1,200PA Bonus based on Customer service scores
