ABOUT US
The GigRig makes the world's most advanced guitar pedal switching systems, used by touring professionals all over the world. We're a small, tight-knit team with a global customer base — and how we look after our customers is a huge part of our brand. This role is at the heart of that.
THE ROLE
You'll be the first port of call for our customers and the person who makes sure every order flows smoothly from our online store to our workshop and out the door:
- Processing daily orders from our Shopify store and getting them to our production team
- First response to customer emails and phone calls — friendly, clear and on time
- Managing returns end to end: requests, shipping labels, refunds and repairs
- Looking after back orders — keeping customers informed and shipping the moment stock lands
- Keeping order records, spreadsheets and Shopify admin accurate and up to date
- Chasing outstanding payments and setting up trade and artist orders
- General office administration for a small, friendly team
WHO YOU ARE
- A genuinely excellent communicator — customers should come away from every contact feeling looked after
- A strong administrator: organised, process-driven, accurate, and reliable with follow-through
- Comfortable with numbers and systems — experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms is a big plus, but we'll train the right person
- Self-motivated and dependable — in a small company, people count on you
- Interest in guitars and music gear is a bonus, not a requirement
