About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Dental lab assistant or technician with a passion for implant and digital dentistry to join our growing laboratory. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled technician who enjoys working on complex restorative cases and producing high-quality aesthetic work using the latest digital technologies.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in implant restorations, CAD/CAM workflows, ceramics, crown and bridge work, and removable prosthetics. Experience in mentoring technicians and assisting with laboratory management is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate high-quality implant-supported restorations, including:
- Single implant crowns
- Implant bridges
- Full-arch immediate-load restorations
- Design restorations using Exocad and/or 3Shape software.
- Operate CAD/CAM milling and 3D printing equipment.
- Produce zirconia, lithium disilicate, PMMA and titanium restorations.
- Manufacture high-quality crowns, bridges, veneers and implant prostheses.
- Produce complete and partial dentures.
- Carry out quality control checks to ensure excellent fit, occlusion and aesthetics.
- Work closely with clinicians to plan and troubleshoot complex restorative cases.
- Assist with laboratory workflow, case allocation and production scheduling.
- Train and support junior technicians.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Essential Requirements
- Diploma or qualification in Dental Technology.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial dental laboratory.
- Strong experience with implant restorations.
- Excellent CAD/CAM knowledge.
- Experience using Exocad and/or 3Shape.
- High-level ceramic and zirconia finishing skills.
- Experience with digital scanning and 3D printing.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with full-arch implant cases (All-on-4/All-on-X).
- Surgical guide design.
- Orthodontic appliance fabrication.
- Laboratory management or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of multiple implant systems.
