Job Summary
The Community Engagement & Social Programmes Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing community-focused initiatives that promote health, education, and social inclusion. This role involves collaborating with diverse stakeholders to foster meaningful engagement, organise events, and enhance the organisation’s presence within the community. The position offers an opportunity to lead impactful projects that support public health and social development goals while ensuring programme success through effective management and communication.
Duties
- Design and execute community outreach programmes aligned with organisational objectives.
- Coordinate and supervise social activities, workshops, and educational sessions for various age groups.
- Manage social media platforms to promote programmes, increase engagement, and raise awareness of community initiatives.
- Lead fundraising efforts by developing proposals, cultivating donor relationships, and organising fundraising events.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of programmes.
- Supervise volunteers and staff involved in community activities, providing leadership and guidance.
- Develop marketing strategies to effectively communicate programme benefits through various channels.
- Establish partnerships with local organisations, schools, healthcare providers, and government agencies to expand programme reach.
- Maintain administrative records related to programme activities, attendance, and outcomes.
- Evaluate programme effectiveness through feedback collection and data analysis to inform continuous improvement.
