We are looking for an experienced, skilled and motivated installer to join our specialist team as a Senior Stretched Fabric & Acoustic Installer.
We are a niche organisation specialising in high-end stretched fabric wall coverings and acoustic solutions, working with prestigious clients across the UK and internationally. Our projects include the fit-out of offices, recording studios, home cinemas, boardrooms and other high-end commercial and residential spaces.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson or installer looking to take their skills into a specialist and growing sector, working on high-quality projects where attention to detail, craftsmanship and professionalism are essential.
The Role
As a Senior Installer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality installations from start to finish, working independently as well as supporting and guiding other members of the installation team.
Your role will include:
- Installing specialist stretched fabric wall and ceiling systems
- Measuring, setting out and installing tracking systems accurately
- Installing and finishing stretched fabric to a high standard
- Installing PET acoustic panels and acoustic treatments
- Working with a range of acoustic materials and systems
- Preparing walls and surfaces prior to installation
- Interpreting drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Working to tight tolerances and achieving a high-quality finish
- Identifying and resolving installation issues on site
- Working alongside project managers, designers and other trades
- Supervising and assisting less experienced installers where required
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional working environment
- Travelling to projects throughout the UK and, where required, internationally
Experience & Skills
We are looking for an experienced installer with a strong practical background and excellent attention to detail.
Essential:
- Proven experience in a hands-on installation or construction-based role
- Strong practical and technical ability
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for installations
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
- Good problem-solving skills
- Reliable, professional and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Desirable:
- Experience installing stretched fabric wall or ceiling systems
- Experience with PET acoustic panels
- Experience with acoustic treatment or architectural interiors
- Carpentry, drylining, plastering, decorating, upholstery or other relevant trade experience
- Experience working on high-end commercial or residential projects
- Experience supervising or mentoring other installers
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be a highly capable, experienced installer who takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship.
You should be confident working on your own initiative, capable of overcoming challenges on site and comfortable taking responsibility for the quality and completion of your work.
Experience within stretched fabric or acoustic installation would be a significant advantage, but we will also consider candidates from related specialist trades who have the practical skills and experience required to learn our systems.
