Role: Maintenance Technician
Salary: Up to £33k
Hours: 40‑hour working week - covering two shifts (06:00–16:30 and 12:00–22:30) across 7 days a week - 4 days on and 3 days off
Location: Rugby
You’ll be experienced in general maintenance and repairs, confident working across building fabric, equipment checks, and everyday site issues. You take pride in keeping a warehouse environment safe, organised, and fully operational, with a practical mindset and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete planned maintenance and carry out safe, timely repairs across the warehouse.
- Respond quickly to maintenance issues, diagnosing faults and resolving problems effectively.
- Support the upkeep of building fabric, including doors, racking, minor plumbing, painting, and general repairs.
- Carry out safety checks and ensure compliance with site standards and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and support contractor activity on site.
- Work collaboratively with Operations teams, supporting small layout changes and improvement activities.
Skills & Experience:
- Practical experience in maintenance or facilities work within a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Adequate general repair skills (mechanical, electrical basics, building fabric). Remove green highlighted area.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and communicate clearly.
- Positive, reliable, and safety‑focused approach.
