Job Title: Trainee Field Sales Representative
Location: Leeds and Harrogate
Hours of Work:
· 37.5 hours per week
· Monday – Friday
Holidays: 30 Annual Holidays + 3 x Bank Holidays (New Year’s Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day)
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 being dependent upon experience

Responsibilities:
· Accompany experienced sales representatives on customer visits and sales appointments.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
· Learn and understand the full Turner Price product range and services.
· Identify potential sales opportunities and generate new business leads.
· Conduct market research and competitor analysis within assigned territories.
· Assist in preparing sales proposals, quotations, and customer presentations.
· Record customer interactions and update sales information accurately within company systems.
· Support promotional campaigns and product launches.
· Achieve agreed sales and development targets as training progresses.
· Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer queries professionally.
Essential Candidate Skills / Requirements:
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong motivation to develop a career in sales.
· Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
· Good organisational and time-management skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
· Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable Skills / Requirements:
· Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales experience.
· Knowledge of the foodservice, wholesale, or hospitality industry.
