Key Responsibilities
Process purchase invoices, credit notes, and expense claims accurately and efficiently.
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
Reconcile supplier statements and investigate invoice discrepancies.
Assist with bank reconciliations and cash postings.
Prepare and issue customer invoices and statements.
Support month-end and year-end finance processes.
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
Assist with payroll administration where required.
Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation.
Undertake general finance administration duties as required.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications
Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, or similar finance role.
AAT qualified or currently studying towards an AAT qualification.
Experience using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
