This is a full-time retail position based in our jewellery store in Brighton, working 5 days a week, with 2 days off.
Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm/9:30am - 5:30pm
Previous jewellery or retail experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. However, a genuine passion for jewellery, precious stones and precious metals is a must.
We’re looking for someone who is friendly, confident, enthusiastic and passionate about providing excellent customer service, with a keen interest in developing their knowledge and skills within the jewellery industry.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting jewellery pieces that match their style and preferences.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits, emphasizing craftsmanship, design details, and value propositions.
- Engage in active upselling by recommending complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring the jewellery is presented attractively and neatly.
- Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems while practicing excellent phone etiquette for remote inquiries.
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods.
- Communicate clearly with customers in multiple languages, including English and Spanish, to accommodate diverse clientele.
- Keep organised records of stock levels, assist with inventory management, and report low stock or damaged items promptly.
- Become a key holder and help run the store during management days off.
- Create content for social media
Experience
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not required; a passion for jewellery or fashion is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with merchandising principles to create appealing displays that attract customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing stock counts.
- Excellent organizational skills to keep the sales area tidy and well-stocked.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service best practices to ensure positive interactions at all times.
