Network Rail High Speed Ltd. (NRHS) is responsible for operating and maintaining the UK's only international high-speed railway, High Speed (HS1).
The 109km HS1 infrastructure consists of a diverse range of railway assets such as the track, signalling, overhead line, lineside buildings, depots, viaducts and long tunnels. NRHS is also responsible for operating and maintaining three international stations; St Pancras, Stratford, Ebbsfleet International.
As a wholly owned subsidiary of Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd, NRHS is privately financed under an agreement with our client 'HS1 Ltd', undertaking a diverse range of activities from railway infrastructure maintenance and operations - through to station facilities management and retail on behalf of our client.

Duration: Permanent role based in St Pancras International Station
Salary: £35,582- £43,400 enhanced by an Inner London Allowance of £3,270. This role may require an on-call commitment which will be discussed at interview - amend

About the role - Route Facilities Manager
- Play a key role in shaping and enhancing workplace environments across Network Rail, ensuring facilities and services are safe, welcoming, cost-effective and aligned with industry best practice.
- Drive excellent customer experiences by helping manage and continuously improve facilities management contractors, balancing service quality, performance and value for money.
- Collaborate with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders across the business to deliver maintenance, compliance and improvement programmes that support operational success.
- Provide expert advice on property and facilities investment, helping to prioritise repairs, renewals and enhancements while ensuring budgets and estate strategies are met.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation, sharing best practice and influencing positive outcomes with senior stakeholders and service providers.
- Maintain accurate property information and develop evidence-based recommendations that optimise building performance, maximise value and support long-term estate planning.

Who are we looking for?

You'll be comfortable operating at management level, holding contractors to account, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- You will bring technical knowledge across building services, combined with a practical, solutions focused approach and good commercial awareness.
