Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily operations of the pub/restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Managing and creating staff rotas to maintain adequate coverage and meet business demands.
- Complying with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and hygiene.
- Leading and motivating the team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Handling staff training, development, and performance management to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensuring stock is well-managed, including ordering, maintaining inventory levels, and minimising waste.
- Managing budgets, monitoring revenue and expenses, and working towards achieving financial targets.
- Maintaining compliance with licensing laws and regulations.
- Addressing customer feedback promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Organising and promoting events or specials to attract customers and increase revenue.
- Being a hands-on leader by assisting with day-to-day tasks, including serving customers and ensuring smooth service during peak times.
What We’re Looking For:
- Hospitality Experience: Previous experience in a pub or similar hospitality setting is essential.
- Management Experience: Essential
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and support a team.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to business needs.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a customer-focused mindset.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
