Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Workshop Mechanic to join our maintenance team! Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy machinery such as excavators, forklifts, and other construction equipment.
- Conduct fabrication, welding, soldering, and assembly tasks to modify or repair equipment components.
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other workshop tools to complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns and extend machinery lifespan.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical repair, equipment fabrication, welding, soldering, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding machines, and fabrication equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely during heavy lifting tasks.
- Familiarity with operating heavy machinery such as excavators and forklifts is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong customer service orientation when interacting with team members or clients regarding repairs or maintenance needs.
