Nicad HVAC Ltd are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our growing team, covering South Scotland and the North East of England.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Servicing and maintenance of commercial gas appliances
- Fault finding and repairs on heating systems and plant
- Commercial boiler servicing and breakdown response
- Testing, purging and commissioning of systems
- Working within live care home and commercial environments
- Completing compliance documentation and digital job reports
- Participation in an Out of Hours on-call rota
- Working independently in a lone working environment.
Requirements
Essential:
- ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1)
- CIGA1
- ICPN1
- TPCP1A
- Valid Gas Safe Registration
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience working within commercial plant rooms
Desirable:
- LPG qualifications
- Experience working in care or healthcare environments
- Strong fault-finding ability
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
