Role: Landscaping Team Leader
Location: Mirfield (travelling to sites across West Yorkshire)
Hours: Full Time, Monday–Friday (occasional overtime available)
Pay: £14.50 per hour
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Landscaping Team Leader to join a well-established landscaping business based in Mirfield. This Landscaping Team Leader role is ideal for someone with experience in soft landscaping who enjoys leading a small team and delivering high-quality landscaping projects across housing developments and commercial sites.

The Role:
- Lead and supervise a team of up to three landscaping operatives
- Carry out soft landscaping including turf laying, planting, seeding and mulching
- Complete fencing installation, repairs and general hard landscaping duties
- Read landscaping plans and follow site specifications
- Liaise with site managers and clients professionally
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Manage materials, equipment and daily site activities
- Complete timesheets and site paperwork accurately
- Promote safe working practices and ensure Health & Safety compliance
The Requirements:
- Previous experience in soft landscaping, preferably on housing developments
- Experience leading or supervising a small team
- Good knowledge of turfing, planting and landscape maintenance
- Experience installing and repairing fencing
- Full UK Driving Licence
- CSCS Card (essential)
- PA1 & PA6 certificates (essential)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
- SSSTS qualification
- First Aid at Work certificate
- Landscaping or horticultural qualifications
