Pay rate: £14.56 per hour
Shift Pattern: 20.00-08.00
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Female Support Worker to join our dedicated team, providing 1:1 support to a bright and joyful lady who lives at home with her mum and dad in Portland.
She has Perisylvian polymicrogyria and requires round‑the‑clock care, delivered by a consistent and understanding team. She is non‑verbal, and her support workers will learn to recognise and respond to her unique communication cues. Full training will be provided. Please note there is a cat within her home that will fast become your friend.
This is a rewarding role supporting a lady who brings a lot of happiness, warmth, and personality to those around her.
Experience and Skills of a Support Worker:

Experience with non‑verbal communication and complex needs is helpful but not essential.

You should be kind, patient, caring, reliable, consistent and confident in your role

Willing to learn specific communication cues.

Happy to engage in sensory, creative, and play‑based activities.

Comfortable working within the family home with a cat.

Able to work as part of a small, stable team.
