We have a vacancy for a store person to work in our premises in Kinross , flexibility is an essential part of what is a varied role which will keep you engaged as part of a close-knit Team. You should enjoy meeting people and be willing to provide good levels of customer service and team member support.
The role includes dealing with customer enquiries at the sales counter, as well as by e-mail or telephone, we have extensive stock ranges of pumps, water treatment systems and spare parts, tanks, pipes and fittings, and sewage treatment systems.
It is essential that we develop your product knowledge by providing sales support material, price lists and training, and that the successful candidate enjoys learning about our products and how they operate.
You will be expected to generate quotations and forward these to the customer by e-mail and follow these actions to ensure the customer receives the information.
Our stores department is responsible for picking all the orders from our stock and arranging for the dispatch of these orders by our delivery vehicle or nominated third-party delivery partners.
Booking in of delivered goods and checking the goods are delivered correctly before uploading these deliveries onto our stock system.
The role also includes purchasing materials to replenish our stock lines, or individual orders for our service department or directly for customers, including the creation of new stock codes on our Sage line 50 system.
Shop merchandising and ensuring the shop area is well presented is an important role of our stores department.
A good remuneration package will be offered depending on experience and your ability to take on the role.
A clean driving licence is preferred as we require holiday relief cover for our nominated Driver.
A forklift licence is preferable although training can be provided.
The role is full-time and working Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm, overtime is offered for additional hours worked.
