Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize quantum algorithms utilizing programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, Java, and MATLAB.
- Develop machine learning models tailored for quantum computing applications, including natural language processing and signal processing tasks.
- Conduct data mining and signal analysis to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets using tools like R, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and AWS cloud services.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate AI techniques into quantum systems for enhanced performance and scalability.
- Perform simulations and testing on Linux-based environments to validate quantum algorithms and software solutions.
- Contribute to research publications by documenting methodologies, results, and insights gained from experimental work in quantum information science.
- Stay current with emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and software development related to quantum technologies to continuously improve research approaches.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field with a focus on quantum computing or machine learning.
- Proven experience with programming languages including Python, C++, C#, Java, MATLAB, and R.
- Strong knowledge of AI concepts such as natural language processing and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS for scalable computation and data storage solutions.
- Practical experience working with Linux operating systems in a research or development environment.
- Expertise in data mining, signal processing, and software development for scientific applications.
- Knowledge of quantum mechanics principles along with hands-on experience in quantum algorithm design is highly desirable.

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in London
