Role:
Dryer Operator
Shift Pattern:
Days based, 12 hour shifts, 4 on 4 off pattern.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Running of the drying plant and use of computerised control system
- Ensuring that the dryer is run in a safe manner in accordance with health and safety rules
- Loading of the dryer feed table with FLT
- Loading customer transport with finished product using FLT
- Undertaking basic maintenance and cleaning all equipment including loading shovel and access equipment
- Operation, weighing and tipping of site HGV shunter
- Pre-use plant equipment checks & recording using checklist forms
- Maintenance of required hygiene levels in the shed, vehicles, and other working areas.
- Additional yard duties during time of dryer inactivity.
- Adherence to relevant risk assessments, safe systems of work and guidance in accordance with SugaRich policies and procedures regarding health & safety and environment.
- Requirement to adhere to Operating Procedures and work instructions in regard to feed safety such as: Control of Non-Conforming Product, Product Handling, Storing & Preservation, Bulk Raw Material Bays & Bunkers Cleaning & Stock Rotation.
Training, qualifications, and skills:
You are expected to hold the relevant certification for all plant and equipment including FLT license.
Further training for this role will be provided during the probation period.
Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
