£14.42 - £14.92 Per Hour | Full Time | Fixed-Term Contract | West Byfleet, Surrey
About Us
At CHD Living, we’re more than just a care provider – we’re a family. Established in 1984, we’ve built an award-winning reputation for delivering exceptional care across Surrey, Hampshire, and South London. Our dedicated team of Health Care Assistants (HCAs) are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Care Team Leader to help guide and inspire them.
This role is for someone who’s ready to step into a leadership position and play a key part in delivering the very best care to our residents, while also supporting a team that is both skilled and passionate about what they do.
What You’ll Do
As a Care Team Leader, your role will be a balance of leadership, hands-on care, and day-to-day management. You’ll take charge of the healthcare needs of our residents and provide guidance to a team that looks to you for support. Whether it’s offering reassurance in a time of need or stepping up in an emergency, your leadership will make a real difference.
This is a dynamic role where you’ll have the chance to:
- Support & Lead – Provide daily supervision and mentorship to Health Care Assistants (HCAs), ensuring care is delivered to the highest standards.
- Care & Compassion – Be actively involved in resident care, including assessments, care planning, and medicine administration.
- Build Relationships – Develop strong connections with residents, families, and the wider community, making sure everyone feels supported and heard.
- Ensure Quality – Work closely with the Home Manager and Nurse-in-Charge to ensure best practices are upheld, and care plans are consistently reviewed.
- Foster Development – Contribute to the ongoing development and training of junior staff, sharing your expertise and helping them grow in their roles.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable people. If you have previous experience as a Team Leader or Health Care Assistant, and hold a recognised qualification such as NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key qualities we’re looking for:
- Compassionate Leadership – Someone who leads with empathy, offering both practical guidance and emotional support to their team.
- Experience in Care – You’ve worked in a care setting and are skilled at managing both the practical and emotional needs of residents.
- Commitment to Quality – You have a strong focus on delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
- Team Player – You thrive in a supportive, collaborative environment where everyone’s contribution matters.
