Warehouse Operative

Here at Gifts Direct 2 U we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to help in our busy warehouse environment
Key Responsibilities
- Packing online customer orders in line with company standards to ensure orders arrive accurately and in perfect condition.
- Assisting with other day to day warehouse tasks once customer orders are completed
- Picking Customer Orders
- Consistently maintain the company health and safety standards complying with heath and safety regulations.
- Maintain a high degree of cleanliness in and around warehouse.
Requirements
- Have excellent communication skills - with good verbal and written English
- Basic computer skills
- A positive can-do attitude with the ability to use own initiative
- Be able to work methodically and at pace
- Good attention to detail and a desire to exceed given targets
- Able to learn and implement new processes
- Committed to achieving high standards in any task assigned
- Excellent time keeping and attendance
- Ability to multitask
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given
- Excellent team player

Permanent position
Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm
Job Types: Full-time Permanent
Pay: £12.71 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- There will be a maximum of six Sunday mornings to work over Christmas which is mandatory to the role. These hours are additional to the Monday to Friday hours.
