Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated part-time cleaner and to employ them on a temp-to-perm basis, following a temp period of three months.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across one commercial premises, which is a converted Victorian house (three floors).
This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on attention to detail and reliability. Prior experience of commercial cleaning is essential.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of toilets, kitchen and communal areas according to health and safety standards
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
- Keep an inventory of supplies such as paper towels, soaps and toilet roll and advise when they need ordering
- Ensure all areas are left tidy and presentable after cleaning
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Maintaining a COSHH register
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning work is essential
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and apply common sense
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning activities is a plus

We are looking for someone to start on the weekend of w/c 13th July. You can choose whether to work in the evenings or weekends, but you must be available for interview on either Wednesday 8th or Thursday 9th July 2026, preferably in the mornings, but afternoon appointments can be accommodated.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
