Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative who is fluent in Mandarin to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
- Handle materials with care, ensuring safe lifting, loading, and unloading of goods in accordance with safety protocols
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely to move stock efficiently within the facility
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), accurately recording stock movements and updates
- Prepare shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products precisely for dispatch
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect goods for quality control issues, and stock items appropriately
- Conduct regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels and identify discrepancies
- Assist with mechanical maintenance or troubleshooting of warehouse equipment as needed to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with knowledge of materials handling, picking & packing, and stock management
- Valid forklift certification is highly desirable; mechanical knowledge is a plus
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory movements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily tasks
- Strong attention to detail for quality control checks and accurate record keeping
- Excellent communication skills in Mandarin; proficiency in English is beneficial but not essential
- Prior experience with shipping & receiving processes is preferred
