Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping professional to join our team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an excellent guest experience by maintaining guest rooms and public areas to a high standard. Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is desirable, along with a strong work ethic and pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
Duties
Clean and service guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas in accordance with hotel standards
Ensure beds, linens, towels, and amenities are correctly presented and replenished
Maintain cleanliness of corridors, stairways, and staff areas
Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
Report maintenance issues, lost property, or damages promptly to management
Handle guest requests politely and efficiently to ensure satisfaction
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
Support laundry operations when required, including handling and organising linens
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure rooms are ready on time, especially during busy periods
Skills
Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is desirable but not essential
Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
Friendly and professional attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
