Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to complete projects efficiently
- Follow project specifications, safety guidelines, and deadlines to deliver exceptional results on time
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to coordinate work progress and address any issues promptly
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly
- Conduct quality checks throughout the project to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship are met
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Valid driving license preferred for transportation between sites
- Excellent communication skills in English to understand project requirements and collaborate effectively
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to painting and decorating activities
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering flawless finishes
- Flexibility to start immediately and adapt to changing project schedules
