Responsibilities
- Perform professional braiding, hairstyling, and hairdressing services tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type
- Provide additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other grooming treatments to enhance client satisfaction
- Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients’ needs and offering expert advice on hair care and styling options
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Upsell products and services confidently to maximize client experience and business growth
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques, offering guidance, and fostering a collaborative atmosphere
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safety in all service areas
Experience
- Proven experience in braiding, hairstyling, or hairdressing with a strong portfolio of work showcasing diverse styles
- Knowledge of store management practices is a plus for those interested in growth opportunities within the team
- Skills in barbering or related grooming services are highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Prior experience in customer service roles that emphasize active listening and personalized care
- Familiarity with eyelash extensions, makeup application, and upselling techniques enhances your versatility as a beauty professional
