Position: Delivery Driver’s Assistant/Demonstrator
Hours: 9:00am to 5.00 pm 5 days per week over 6 on a rota basis
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £25,100 per annum plus company bonus
Area: Shrewsbury and surrounding areas.
Main Purpose of the Role:
Due to business growth, Ableworld is looking for a Delivery Driver/Demonstrator Assistant in Shrewsbury and the surrounding areas. You will support the Driver with deliveries, product demonstrations, and installations of mobility equipment in customers’ homes and care or nursing homes.
This role is more than standard deliveries. You will help demonstrate products such as mobility scooters and power chairs, assist with installations, and provide excellent customer service. Full in-house training will be provided.
If you enjoy helping people and working in a customer-focused role, you’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team who will guide you through your training.
Key Duties
- Assisting with deliveries to customers
- Demonstrating mobility products in homes and care settings
- Helping with product installations
- Transferring stock between stores
- Providing polite, professional customer service
- Completing paperwork on a smartphone
- Taking payments (cash, cheque, or card)
Skills & Experience
- Friendly, responsible, and confident working with people of all ages
- Energetic and flexible with a positive attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using a smartphone for forms and records
- Confident handling payments
- Confident driver, full drivers licence
