Client Services Manager (Full-Time)
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum
Location: Remote (UK-based) – applicants must be within reasonable travelling distance of Hatfield for weekly team meet-ups and occasional in-person training or business requirements.
Are you highly organised, client-focused, and passionate about delivering a great customer experience? We're looking for a Client Services Manager to join our growing team and help ensure our clients receive a seamless and professional service from day one.
As our Client Services Manager, you'll play a key role in onboarding new clients, coordinating client services, managing administrative processes, and helping our team deliver an outstanding client experience.
What You'll Do:
- Manage the client onboarding process, including Welcome Calls, setting up limited companies, registering for VAT and PAYE, and providing basic software guidance (e.g. Xero and FreeAgent).
- Act as a central point of contact for administrative queries referred by our Client Accountants.
- Handle ad hoc client administration requests, ensuring they're resolved efficiently and professionally.
- Coordinate the annual scheduling of client services, including VAT returns, P11Ds, tax planning meetings and other key deadlines.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure services such as bookkeeping, payroll and tax compliance are delivered on time.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and enhance the client experience.
- Help maintain and update internal procedures and training materials as processes evolve.
- Liaise with HMRC, Companies House and other third parties to resolve administrative matters.
- Develop payroll knowledge through full training, becoming the secondary payroll lead and supporting the payroll function as required.
What We're Looking For:
- At least 3 years' experience in a client services, customer support, administration or similar role.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confidence using technology, CRM systems and business software.
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice or working with limited companies would be advantageous, but is not essential.
