Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, analysing data, and providing sustainable solutions to clients. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments, and comliance with waste managemnet laws.
- To secure environmental permits by submitting technical reports.
- Data processing, automation, and modelling tasks.
- Prepare detailed reports on environmental impact, compliance status, and recommended mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop sustainable solutions.
- Use AutoCAD for designing environmental layouts and remediation plans.
- Engage in scientific research activities related to waste management.
- Perform laboratory experiments and analyse samples as part of environmental testing for waste materials.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and best practices in environmental and waste management.
Experience
- Relevant degree is required (Environmental Science or related field).
- Proven experience in environmental consultancy, local government bodies, waste management companies or related fields.
- Strong data analysis skills in environmental reporting.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to environmental projects is advantageous.
- Experience with laboratory procedures, sample analysis in wate material is preferred.
- Membership with relevant professional bodies is preferrd.
Pay: £37,700.67-£41,900.42 per year
