The Chef de Partie Role
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, energetic and professional person to join our Kitchen Team .
The Kitchen department are responsible for consistently delivering high quality and high volume food from three operational kitchens, catering for large corporate events, private parties and weddings of 300+ delegates, as well as individual restaurant guests, hotel residents, Spa & Golf visitors and members.
The menus vary from tradition and continental breakfast, lounge bar sandwiches and grills to sensational TDH and A la Carte dishes. The Kitchen team also provide Spa & Leisure lunches, Afternoon Teas, Conference Buffets, Wedding Breakfasts, Dinner Banquets and BBQ’s.
It’s a superb time for a focused and dedicated person to join a professional and inspiring team of chefs. It will be a challenging role, but will provide every opportunity for the right person to learn, gain experience and develop their career. Ideally we are looking for an existing Chef de Partie with solid experience in a similar environment, however this could be the ideal opportunity for an experienced Commis Chef to take the next step up.
The successful candidate will be reliable, honest and enthusiastic and thrive under pressure, whilst excelling working alone or as part of a team. For the right candidate, there is a clear career progression path with a company that is dynamic and forward thinking.
Reporting to the Head Chef, it is important that this person brings a professional work ethic, a 'can-do' attitude and an unquestionable drive to succeed.
The Ideal Candidate will:
· Deliver consistent quality dishes as directed by the Head Chef
· Effectively manage a single section or work across all sections with senior Chefs
· Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene at all times
· Be able to learn and adapt
· Possess strong attention to detail
· Have a passion for food and contribute inspiring ideas for menu production
· Strive to learn and develop skills and knowledge
· Have a good understanding of wastage and portion control
· Have proven experience in a similar role
· Possess good spoken and written English
