The Role
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a key role within the business, ensuring our customers receive expert advice and efficient support at every stage of their shopping journey.
Alongside customer support responsibilities, this role will also contribute to product data management and listing optimisation across various online marketplaces. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential, as you will regularly work with product spreadsheets, bulk uploads, and data updates to ensure accurate and enhanced product listings.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via email and telephone
- Provide detailed product advice, including fabric composition, garment care, and fit guidance for tweed and wax styles
- Assist customers with sizing recommendations to ensure the best possible fit
- Process returns and refunds in accordance with company policies
- Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls confidently and professionally
- Liaise with courier services to investigate delayed parcels and provide timely updates
- Resolve customer concerns efficiently while maintaining a positive brand experience
- Accurately record customer interactions and update internal systems
- Use Microsoft Excel to manage, maintain, and update product data
- Prepare and upload product files for listing enhancements across multiple online marketplaces
- Ensure product information is accurate, consistent, and optimised across all sales channels
Skills & Experience
- Previous customer service experience (online retail experience preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with formulas, data validation, filtering, and bulk data management
- Experience working with product spreadsheets and marketplace file uploads
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident handling phone enquiries and speaking with third-party courier services
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries and prioritise workload effectively
- A genuine interest in countryside clothing or heritage fashion would be advantageous
