We are looking to expand our kitchen team and are seeking a reliable, proactive and motivated kitchen porter. As a kitchen porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and effectively. What you’ll be doing
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and back of house areas
- Wash dishes, glassware and all kitchen equipment efficiently
- Support the kitchen team by keeping workstations clean and organised
- Assist with deliveries, stock monitoring and storing
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies
- Help maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintainence issues
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required
- Work collaboratively with chefs, front of house and management to support smooth service
- Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure bins are emptied regularly

Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or a similar role is desired but not essential, as training will be provided
- Basic understanding of food and safety hygiene practices
- Ability to remain composed and efficient under pressure
