We are looking for a skilled and motivated system support administrator to join our ERP Support Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Unit4, helping support critical HR and Payroll services.
As part of a collaborative and high-performing team, you will provide support for ERP HR and Payroll modules, troubleshoot issues and ensure our business-critical system processes are completed efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will be a process driven individual with a keen eye for detail who has experience working within transactional or payroll administrative roles. In the role you will undertake a range of daily activities relating to the process investigation and administrative tasks required to ensure efficient and effective data processing within the councils financial and payroll application, Unit4.
Knowledge of the Unit4 application would be desirable as would experience in a similar system or data administrative tasks. The role also has key responsibilities in undertaking helpdesk activity; providing excellent technical support, customer service and advice to our colleagues who process a range of daily activities across HR and Payroll.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide frontline support for the ERP application, resolving service requests and carrying out system administration tasks
- Support payroll and HR operational processes, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
- Investigate and resolve system issues, escalating complex matters when required
- Complete helpdesk tickets and contribute to delivering agreed service levels and performance targets
- Assist with system testing, development activities, and process improvements
- Support routine ERP maintenance activities and business administration tasks
- Share knowledge and provide guidance to colleagues, helping to promote high-quality working practices
This role would suit someone with significant IT experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills and an ability to interpret and present data in a meaningful way. A pro-active and positive attitude with the ability to manage pressure effectively within a fast-paced environment is key.
