Freelance Skin Rejuvenation TrainerLocation: LondonJob type: Ad hoc / freelanceAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Skin Rejuvenation Trainer to support the practical delivery of regulated aesthetic and skin rejuvenation training in London.This role would suit a confident practitioner and trainer with strong hands-on experience in facial electrical treatments, microdermabrasion and laser/light-based skin treatments.Training Areas RequiredYou must be confident delivering practical training in:
- Facial electrical treatments, including galvanic, high frequency, microcurrent and EMS
- Microdermabrasion / skin resurfacing
- Laser and light-based skin treatments, including Laser/IPL safety, patch testing, treatment protocols and aftercare
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver practical training in a professional clinical training environment
- Demonstrate safe and effective treatment techniques
- Support learners with consultation, skin assessment, contraindications, consent, treatment planning and aftercare
- Observe learner treatments and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Complete learner records and assessment documentation where required
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and professionalism
Essential Requirements
- Strong practical experience in facial electricals, microdermabrasion and Laser/IPL
- Relevant qualifications in beauty therapy, skin therapy, aesthetics, laser/IPL or clinical skin practice
- Experience training, mentoring or supervising learners or practitioners
- Strong understanding of consultation, contraindications, consent, treatment safety and aftercare
- Professional, reliable and well organised
Desirable Requirements
- Teaching qualification, such as AET, CET or equivalent
- Assessor qualification, such as CAVA, TAQA or equivalent
- Experience delivering regulated qualifications
- Experience with Level 4 or Level 5 skin, beauty or aesthetic qualifications
