Junior Graphic Designer – Children’s Products
We are seeking a creative, passionate, and detail‑driven Graphic Designer to join our friendly and fast‑paced team. The ideal candidate will bring strong imagination, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
In this role, you will design a wide range of children’s party and activity products—from party bags and hats to menu mats and innovative new concepts for both our core range and bespoke client briefs.

Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively as part of a creative design team
- Amend artwork based on customer and internal feedback
- Produce original, high‑quality designs with strong visual appeal
- Create imaginative children’s puzzles, characters, and themed content
- Work methodically to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Develop new and innovative product ideas
- Interpret design briefs and determine requirements
- Collaborate closely with the sales team on client briefs
- Prepare print‑ready artwork and place orders with UK and China‑based factories
- Work efficiently at speed while remaining precise and meticulous
- Conceptualise visuals for key meetings and presentations
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement
- Contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions and team meetings
- Prepare artwork for print and liaise with suppliers
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take feedback constructively
- Support the sales team at meetings when required
Skills & Experience
- Proven graphic design experience (experience in a similar role is advantageous)
- Strong freehand drawing skills essential for creating children’s characters
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
- Experience preparing artwork for factory production (preferred but not essential)
- Digital design experience and mock-ups
- Excellent attention to detail and strong creative awareness
- Confident understanding of colour, layout, and design principles
- Ability to create imaginative, child‑focused content
- Experience working within client brand guidelines
- Knowledge of children’s party products and how children interact with them
- A degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- A portfolio that shows creativity, attention to detail, and a good understanding of layout and typography
- Work calmly under pressure
Pay: £19,850.00 per year
