⭐ About the home:
Based in Basingstoke, this provider operates two homes, supporting young people with SEMH and trauma-based needs, including experiences of neglect, abuse and attachment disorders.
This is made up of their 3x bedded home supporting three boys and girls aged 11 - 17, and a 2x bedded home currently supporting a 15-year-old female. Both homes are located within a short drive of Basingstoke town centre, with the homes providing opportunities for young people to enjoy activities such as Thorpe Park, swimming and local lidos, with plans to offer overseas experiences in the future.
The homes are overseen by their highly experienced Dual-Registered Manager, who is closely mentored by the sole director. Home Managers lead the day-to-day running of each service. The founder is described as being passionate about helping children create better memories, with the business maintaining a strong family-run ethos where "everyone knows everyone".
Shift pattern:
- 40 hours per week
- 2x 07:00 - 22:00 shifts
- 1x 07:00 - 17:00 or 12:00 - 22:00 shift
- Occasional sleep-ins (once per two weeks) paid at £50.00
⭐ What you’ll need:
- 1 year's experience in an Ofsted-regulated children's home
- Willingness to complete the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- Full UK Driving License
