We are looking for a motivated and talented individual to join our collaborative and student-focused team as a Programme Coordinator on a 12-month fixed term basis.
Providing high-quality support for teaching delivered to almost 2000 students a year from across Imperial and beyond, this is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive professional to contribute to an ambitious portfolio of programmes, helping to shape an outstanding student experience within a world-leading institution.
Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will provide excellent administrative support to guarantee the professional and smooth running of the BPES modular programme and Joint Honours and Intercalated BSc programmes. You will also be working closely in collaboration with various departments across Imperial, making this a particularly exciting and dynamic opportunity.
You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including managing student module enrolments, maintaining accurate student records, and supporting assessment processes. You will play a key role in ensuring students and Faculty have access to up-to-date information and you will help monitor engagement and feedback to continuously improve the student experience.
Beyond day-to-day operations, you will contribute to induction activities, and programme events, helping foster a vibrant and inclusive environment. You will also liaise with external speakers and alumni, and work collaboratively across teams to deliver a consistently high-quality service.
Sharing our enthusiasm and ambition to deliver programmes of the highest quality, you will have proven experience of supporting a variety of stakeholders; of effectively managing a high-volume workload and data; and of responding flexibly to opportunities and challenges as they arise.
Excellent time management, organisational and problem-solving skills are vital, as is a strong customer focus and exemplary attention to detail. You will demonstrate strong administration and IT skills and have an interest in the use of technology in education. You must be a team player with the proven ability to use your own initiative and work with minimal supervision.
You will need to demonstrate a pro-active, positive attitude and the ability to juggle several tasks confidently. Previous experience of working in higher education, events planning, and an interest in Business Education are highly desirable.
- The opportunity to continue your career at a world-leading institution and be part of our mission to use science for humanity.
- Benefit from a sector-leading salary and remuneration package (including 41 days’ annual leave and generous pension schemes).
- Access to a range of workplace benefits including a flexible working policy from day one, generous family leave packages, on-site leisure facilities and cycle-to-work scheme.
- Interest-free season ticket loan schemes for travel.
- Be part of a diverse, inclusive and collaborative work culture with various staff networks and resources to support your personal and professional wellbeing.
We are a friendly and collaborative team, with a passion for providing students and staff with high-quality programme support and ensuring an excellent experience for all our stakeholders.
