We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and organised Hotel Laundry Worker to help ensure that the hotel’s laundry, linen and general stock are kept clean, fresh, organised and fully maintained to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sorting, washing and preparing hotel laundry, including bed linen, towels and other items.
- Hanging freshly washed laundry out to dry.
- Loading and unloading tumble dryers, ensuring laundry is dried correctly and efficiently.
- Operating laundry equipment safely and responsibly.
- Pressing and ironing linen to ensure they are presented to a high standard.
- Folding and organising clean laundry ready for use throughout the hotel.
- Keeping the laundry room clean, tidy and hygienic.
- Keeping shelves and storage areas fully stocked and well organised.
- Monitoring stock levels of linen, cleaning supplies, toiletries and other hotel essentials and ensuring items are replenished before they run low.
- Helping to maintain adequate supplies throughout the hotel so that staff have everything they need to operate efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming environment at all times.
- Reporting any damaged, missing or low-stock items, as well as any issues with laundry equipment.
- Working efficiently and independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Supporting other hotel staff with general cleaning and housekeeping duties when required.
The successful candidate should take pride in their work, have good attention to detail and understand the importance of cleanliness, organisation and presentation within a hotel environment. Reliability, a positive attitude and the ability to manage laundry and stock efficiently are essential.
Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
