Job Summary
CE Agrodex Food & Supply Chain Ltd is seeking an Operations Director – Food Manufacturing to lead food production operations, improve manufacturing performance, and ensure products are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for an experienced operations leader with a strong background in food manufacturing.
What you'll do:
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organisational objectives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate multiple teams across different departments within the manufacturing facility.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring production targets are met while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimise utilisation of equipment and personnel.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analysing processes and implementing best practices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety legislation, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams to streamline supply chain processes.
- Prepare reports on operational performance for senior management and recommend strategic adjustments as necessary.
- Lead crisis management efforts in response to operational disruptions or safety incidents.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead large teams effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on motivating staff and fostering teamwork.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Sound understanding of food safety standards, health & safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities to address operational challenges swiftly.
- Effective communication skills at all levels of the organisation.

Pay: £6,500.00-£7,200.00 per month
