Are you an experienced night carer who thrives in providing calm, reassuring support during the hours when it matters most?
We are looking for a kind, compassionate, and experienced Live-In Waking Night Carer to support a client living with dementia in Taunton. This is a rewarding long-term opportunity for someone who understands the importance of patience, routine, and person-centred care throughout the night.
You’ll provide:
- Dedicated waking night support
- Dementia care throughout the night
- Reassurance and emotional support
- Positive engagement when the client is awake
- Gentle distraction and de-escalation techniques
- A calm, structured, and safe overnight environment
- Consistent monitoring and support to promote wellbeing
- Extensive experience supporting people living with dementia
- Skilled in distraction and de-escalation techniques
- Able to engage positively with the client throughout the night
- Committed to maintaining a structured night-time routine
