Nissan Local Business Development Manager
Location: Cars2 Nissan, Wakefield
Salary: up to OTE £45,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Cars2 Nissan Wakefield is looking for a driven and commercially focused Nissan Local Business Development Manager
to lead and grow our business sales operation across Nissan commercial vehicles and passenger cars. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated automotive sales professional to build strong local business relationships, identify new opportunities, and deliver an outstanding customer experience from enquiry through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
· Drive fleet and business sales of Nissan commercial vehicles and cars to local businesses, SMEs, and larger fleet customers.
· Develop and manage relationships with new and existing business customers to generate repeat and referral business.
· Identify prospect opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and local market activity.
· Present the Nissan range confidently, including the Townstar, Primastar, Interstar and passenger car line-up, matching customers to the right vehicle and funding solution.
· Prepare quotations, proposals, finance packages and tender responses in line with customer requirements.
· Manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover and aftersales follow-up.
· Maintain accurate records of customer activity, pipeline, and performance using internal systems.
· Work closely with sales, administration and aftersales teams to ensure a smooth customer journey and excellent service levels.
· Deliver against agreed sales targets, profitability objectives and customer satisfaction standards.
What We’re Looking For
· Previous experience in motor retail, fleet sales, local business sales, or commercial vehicle sales.
· A proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing business relationships.
· Strong knowledge of the fleet and business sales process, including finance and leasing options.
· Excellent communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
· Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently while contributing to the wider dealership team.
· A professional and proactive approach with a strong focus on customer service.
· Full UK driving licence preferred.
