Role Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our expanding Field Service team, operating from our Leyland depot. This role will involve the maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet of plant machinery, including excavators (ranging from 1.5 to 50 tonnes), dumpers, dump trucks, rollers, and dozers.
The successful candidate will travel across the North West of England to service and repair plant and machinery. This is a key position within the business, playing a vital role in supporting operational efficiency and maintaining our reputation as a market leader.

Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out on-site and off-site maintenance and servicing of plant machinery
- Diagnosing and assisting with technical fault-finding, including hydraulic and electrical systems
- Completing service and repair reports accurately and in a timely manner
- Undertaking additional duties as requested by the Depot Manager
Role Requirements
- Previous experience in construction plant maintenance
- Familiarity with compaction equipment (machine-specific training will be provided)
- CSCS card holder (or willingness to obtain — company support provided)
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, including apprentices
- Full UK driving licence
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in plant machinery maintenance and servicing
