Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter to join our team, we are a 15 man Landscaping firm in Horsham all our work is non-commercial. We work mostly in hard landscaping but cover roofing and some minor building work. The ideal candidate will have 10/15+ years experience in Carpentry and can set out and run and project confidently. We provide a range of power tools and the candidate will get their own van but we expect you to have your own tools to bring to work. Candidates MUST have a full UK driving licence. The successful candidate will have a 2 year experienced apprentice to work alongside him also.
Responsibilities
- Complete a range of carpentry including; Roofing/ Outside Room builds/cladding/soffit/facures/guttering/sleeper work/decking/pergolas and so on.
- Be able to work alongside our foreman and other staff to complete each job as planned.
- Dig and prepare each area we are building on to the parameters needed.
- Turn up to our yard on time Mon-Fri and keep yourself and your van presentable.
- Operate power tools safely to assist in building and maintaining landscape features.
- Conduct routine inspections of landscaped areas to identify any issues or areas needing attention.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all duties are completed efficiently.
Experience
- 10/15+ years experience Carptentry.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively is required.
- Strong experience laying modern porcelain paving slabs is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time - this will be on a self-employed basis.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
Optional overtime may be available on Saturdays.
