We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components across various projects. Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, and layouts using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
- Create detailed system schematics and technical drawings adhering to GD&T standards.
- Develop control systems using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and microcontrollers, including debugging and troubleshooting.
- Utilise programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and MATLAB for system automation, data analysis, and product development.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify faults within electrical systems and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers on system integration involving fabrication and mechanical knowledge.
- Perform system design reviews to ensure compliance with safety standards and client specifications.
- Support maintenance activities by diagnosing issues and implementing corrective actions to optimise system performance.
- Assist in the realisation of fabrication processes by providing technical guidance on electrical components.
- Analyse technical requirements to develop innovative solutions that enhance product functionality and reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience with electrical system design, including schematics creation and system integration.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or SolidWorks is essential.
- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), microcontrollers, and control systems engineering.
- Experience with programming languages including C, C++, Python, and MATLAB for automation and data analysis tasks.
- Familiarity with GD&T standards, fabrication processes, debugging techniques, and root cause analysis methodologies.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to electrical system integration is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong organisational abilities.

Pay: £30,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
