Overview

Duties
- Lead the food preparation process, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster teamwork and skill development
- Manage food production schedules to ensure timely service and optimal inventory control
- Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and compliance with health regulations
- Develop new menu items in collaboration with management to keep offerings fresh and exciting
- Monitor kitchen operations to maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and uphold safety standards
- Serve as a role model for hospitality excellence by engaging with guests when appropriate and ensuring their satisfaction
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience leading culinary teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation regulations
- Demonstrated ability to manage food production processes from prep to plating
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving procedures, and customer service standards
- Prior experience in culinary innovation or menu development is a plus
